# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 wheel Brie cheese (approx. 8 oz)
02 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
→ Condiments
03 - 3 tablespoons fig jam
→ Pastry
04 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed if frozen
→ Garnish (optional)
05 - 2 tablespoons chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
06 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
07 - Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving
# How To Make It:
01 - Heat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place puff pastry on the prepared sheet and set Brie wheel in the center.
03 - Evenly spread fig jam over the top of the Brie.
04 - Sprinkle chopped nuts and thyme leaves over the jam if using.
05 - Fold pastry up and over the cheese, pleating to fully enclose. Pinch seams to seal.
06 - Brush beaten egg over the pastry exterior for a glossy golden finish.
07 - Bake for 20–25 minutes until pastry is puffed and deep golden brown.
08 - Allow to rest for 10 minutes before transferring to a platter. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.
