# What You'll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices sourdough or rustic country bread

→ Cheese & Filling

02 - 1 ball (about 4 oz) burrata cheese, drained and torn into pieces
03 - 1 medium ripe tomato, thinly sliced
04 - 8–10 fresh basil leaves

→ Spreads & Seasonings

05 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How To Make It:

01 - Lightly butter one side of each bread slice; this will be the sandwich exterior.
02 - Layer burrata, tomato slices, and basil leaves on the unbuttered side of two bread slices. Season with salt and pepper.
03 - Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
04 - Warm olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
05 - Place sandwiches in skillet and cook 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently until bread is golden brown and cheese melts.
06 - Remove from heat, let rest 1 minute, then slice and serve promptly.
