01 - 6 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and sliced

02 - 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
03 - 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

04 - 1 cup rolled oats
05 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
# How To Make It:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, combine sliced apples with ½ teaspoon cinnamon and half of the brown sugar, tossing to coat evenly. Spread the apples in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats with the remaining brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.
04 - Evenly sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
05 - Bake for 35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender and bubbling.
06 - Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
